Back to School – Teaming Up with YOUth is Now Taking Applications for Students and Mentors

September 20, 2012

Fall means back to school and the start up of our after school mentoring program, Teaming Up with YOUth.  The TUWY (Teaming Up with YOUth) program is available at all Midland Public Schools.  The program matches an elementary school student with a high school mentor, once a week for the duration of the school year.  They work on homework together, have a healthy snack and then participate in fun activities in a group setting. Each program is supervised by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region staff.

For more information on enrolling a child or signing up to volunteer, please contact Mary Tien (989) 631-5360 or mary@bbbsgreatlakesbay.org.
